Be a part of the recovery! HMG+ is partnering with New York State Department of Health and a Consortium of Staffing firms to assist with the vaccine rollout. We are seeking NON-Clinical support staff who are friendly and professional and who have the ability to self report to various locations throughout the state.

Our first location in Wantagh Long Island. Hours of operation are from 7 am – 7 pm. 12 hour shifts 3-4 day’s per week are encouraged. You will have an opportunity to indicate your availability in the application. The program will run through June, however, it could be longer or shorter depending on the speed of the program. Commitment for the duration of the program is encouraged and there will be a bonus payout at the end of the schedule (June) for attending your scheduled shifts throughout the duration. *Bonus payout = $1.00 for every hour worked during the program, based on completing 90% of the scheduled shifts throughout the program.


  • High School diploma or GED
  • Skills in writing and reporting information
  • Visitor Services: Two years of customer facing work experience such as: restaurant host/hostess, captain, waitstaff, bartender, retail floor workers, hotel front desk or concierge staff; receptionists or customer service agents, flight attendants, check in or gate personnel, tour guides, teachers, gym greeters, casino and racetrack hosts or similar positions.
  • Product Support:  Two years experience working in a retail inventory, mailroom, warehouse, parts department, hospital/medical supply or other similar settings. Ability to lift 40 lbs

Job DescriptionEnsures sign-in and out of all staff and volunteers assigned to the Point of Distribution (POD), as well as supporting other critical record-keeping and documentation activities as assigned by the Planning & Administration Chief.  
Job DutiesMaintain Check In/Out station ensuring all staff appropriately sign-in and out. Maintain inventory control on all issuable equipment provided to staff upon check-in, noting gaps and issues with Planning & Administration Chief and Logistics Staff. Record hours, staff numbers and other summary data points for Planning & Administration Chief. Just in time training as needed.

Job DescriptionWork with Logistics Chief and Point of Distribution (POD) staff to provide requested supplies in sufficient quantities during POD operations. Supports or coordinates other logistical functions (food, cleaning service, etc).  Advises the POD Manager on issues related to equipment and supplies.  
Job DutiesSecure and maintain inventory control of all POD equipment and supplies. Work with Logistics Chief/Lead on proper storage and handling of vaccines throughout operations, including cold chain requirements. Maintain and monitor cold chain procedures for vaccines, documenting regular checks on a temperature log Work with Runner to ensure all Vaccine Administration and other POD stations are resupplied as needed, and document any items issued in inventory management system. Provide on-going status report of equipment and supplies to Logistics Chief/Lead as needed, identifying gaps and future re-supply needs. Return and document unused vaccine and other essential supplies to secured area upon operations closure. Just in Time Training as Needed  


  • Minimum BA/BS degree
  • 2 years experience working as a behavioral health counselor, mental health counselor, developmental disability counselor, congregate care facility lead counselor or other similar experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge and skills in Psychological First Aid and Disaster Mental Health
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Excellent public interaction skills
ROLE   BEHAVIORAL MENTAL HEALTH payrate: $27 per hour*
Job DescriptionSupports recipient, staff and volunteers who show signs of mental health distress.
Job DutiesCoordinates with Safety Officer, Security Officer, and Operations Chief to identify and be notified of any recipient, staff and volunteer concerns. Assess and provides follow-up steps to recipients, staff or volunteers who have been referred due to showing signs of psychological stress. Identifies and works with all POD staff on methods of mitigating and reducing stress during POD operations. Just Time in Training
